Ce livre est un recueil d'articles en hommage à Karl Prasse qui a fêté ses 70 ans en août 1999. Au cours de sa carrière, Prasse a eu une activité soutenue de publication et d'édition sur le domaine touareg. À côté de ses travaux linguistiques, descriptifs ou historiques, il a participé régulièrement à des travaux de linguistique appliquée: élaboration de manuels d'enseignement pour l'alphabétisation, fixation de l'orthographe touarègue, etc.
Ce livre retrace les grandes lignes de la recherche dans le domaine amazigh. De la linguistique à la littérature, les différents auteurs ont essayé de répondre aux grandes questions que soulève la recherche dans ce domaine.

This book is a collection of articles in tribute to Karl Prasse who celebrated his 70 years in August 1999. During his career, Prasse has had a sustained activity of publication and edition on the Tuareg domain. Next to his linguistic, descriptive or historic work, he had regularly participated to work on applied linguistics : elaboration of education textbooks for the elimination of illiteracy, fixation of the Tuareg literal spelling, etc.
This book redraws the main lines of the research in the Amazigh domain. From linguistics to literature, the various authors have tried to answer the main questions that the research has raised in this domain.
