Depuis quelques années, un nouveau genre littéraire commence à apparaître au Maroc dont il s’avère nécessaire de rendre compte. Il s’agit de la littérature marocaine écrite en amazigh (berbère). Grâce à des écrivains, qui ont tous publié à comptes d’auteurs, elle fait son chemin sur le marché de l’édition et occupe une place centrale dans le champ de la revalorisation de l’identité culturelle des Amazighs. Si la poésie, dont l’édition a débuté depuis la fin des années soixante-dix, reste le genre dominant, l’écriture romanesque s’est imposée ses derniers temps comme une des priorités des écrivains en amazighe. Après Askkif n inzaden (soupe aux poils) de Ali Ikken, Imula n tmktit (ombres de mémoire) de Afulay, Ticri n tama n tsarrawt (le pied de la guillotine) de Bouzaggou, Tawargit d imik (rêve et un peu) de M. A new type of literary genre needs to be looked at which began to appear in Morocco a few years ago. It is Moroccan literature written in Amazigh (Berber). Thanks to these writers, who have all published their works, it is beginning to become more and more popular and plays a major role in the revalorisation of the Amazigh cultural identity. Although poetry, published since the end of the seventies, remains the dominant genre, novel-writing has recently become one of the favourite genres of Amazigh writers.
